Need for Innovation
Starting from the year 2010, Bizmatrice wanted to create innovative tools that would enhance air-con business and bring success and growth to new levels. Being an air-con business owner herself, Bizmatrice understood that the air-con business market was in lack of an efficient and productive method to manage and keep track of employees’ performance.
At that point of time, companies had a hard time sharing the information across the team such as customer lists, contact least, list of tasks to be done and staffs’ leave application. It caused lots of miscommunication and also low productivity for the entire team. Not only that, the demand of remote access to company’s information and working portal of the business owners or the sales teams and on-site technical teams pointed to the need of an online platform. In addition, at that point of time, there wasn’t any platform or tool to calculate the revenue and return of each project.
IT vendor selection
With this business idea in mind, Bizmatrice started to look for an IT partner that could help them to bring it into reality. And the search was hard. Because freelancers couldn’t give them the reliability and constant support that they needed, and if they wanted to have professional consulting and customization IT services, the price would exceed their budget. Bizmatrice did hire a full-time developer to do it in-house but to retain just a 1-man show software department is close to impossible.
